09/21/2025 - 4pm "Growing Up Is Hard to Do - Fall Cabaret" with the Riverport Chorus
Event Location: Parkway Chateau, 12304 75th St., Kenosha, WI
Description: The Riverport Chorus of Sweet Adelines International invites you to: "Growing Up Is Hard to Do." This fall cabaret will feature musical performances by Riverport Chorus, The Thrift Store Four Quartet, Joyful Blend Quartet, and 2025 Diva Quest Champion Yocelin Valdez. Additional highlights include raffle baskets, a 50/50 cash raffle and food & beverage concessions.
Advance tickets are available online at riverportchorus.org ($15 for adults and $12 for ages 6-18. Children 5 and under are free) or from any Riverport Chorus member. Tickets at the door will be $20.
"Growing Up Is Hard to Do" will take place at the Parkway Chateau, 12304 75th St. (behind The Brat Stop) in Kenosha, Wisconsin, right near the Highway 50 exit off I-94. Plenty of free parking is available on-site.

Description: Its School Career Day on the Danville Sweet Adelines' stage with When I Grow Up, I Wanna Be.... on Saturday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Danville Area Community College Bremer Theater. In support of local education, the Sweet Adelines, are collecting school supplies at the door for donation to District 118. Additionally, each paid adult is welcome to bring one K-12 student to the show at no charge. (Student admission does not include dinner) Admission (without dinner) is $15. Show and dinner is $40. Dinner, served by Dogg Pound BBQ, follows the show. Call 217-474-0473 for tickets.

The setting is a 3rd grade classroom where each student is participating in Career Day where she portrays what she wants to be when she grows up.
The show theme has many connections to us as a group of professional women who come from various careers such as healthcare, real estate, insurance, horticulture, social services, etc.. We have several active and retired educators among us. The school related theme and the charitable nature of our chorus, has motivated the supplies donation and student admission. We have collaborated with DHS in the past as a trophy and advertising sponsor for the Midwest Show Choir Competition.

Description: Riverport Chorus hosts its annual Fall Craft & Vendor Fair on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Antioch VFW Post #4551 (75 North Avenue, Antioch, Illinois). Crafters and vendors are invited to reserve spots by contacting Kat Froeber (608-335-7764) or Carol Hooper (262-694-6170).
The event will showcase an intriguing variety of artisans/crafters and vendors and will offer food and beverage concessions, baked goods, and a raffle. Free parking is available for this indoor event. Admission is $1.
