How to Start a Quartet
HOW TO START A QUARTET
Have you ever dreamed about being in a Quartet, but don't know where to start? Here are some ideas for you:
- If time permits, sing in pick-up quartets after chorus rehearsals to get the feel of what it is like to sing with 3 other people
- Go to a Region 3 Fall or Winter Education Weekend and sing in pick-up quartets. This will give you an opportunity to sing with women beyond just your own chorus.
- Consider going to a Quartet Workshop - A Quartet Workshop is an opportunity for quartets to learn from the coaches that are brought in specifically to focus on them and is attended by not only quartets, but also people who are interested in perhaps being in a quartet someday.
