7pm – 8:15    What a Character    A class about energy, choreo, characterization and genuine emotion.  What is the difference between choreography and showmanship?

8:30-9:45    Power in a Package    How to put together a script, emcee helps and song choices to get a standing ovation

 

Saturday

9:15-9:45   Fun and energizing warm ups…..physical and vocal

10:00 -11:00  Wall of Sound   Breathing, Resonance and intonation skills to produce that ringing Barbershop sound

11:15-12:30  What do the Judges want This Year???   Class participants discuss the categories, and then score taped examples of varying levels.

Lunch….

1:30 – 2:30   Know your Strengths   Using Prism, class analyzes their musical and visual assets, focusing on Unity and Image

2:45 -3:45  Body Language for Performers    A fast paced class about the skills you need to captivate and audience.  Comedy, Animation,  FirstImpressions and Rapport.

3:45-4:30  Ask Not What your Chorus can do for you   A” feel good” wrap up class discussing personal commitment, unity and joy, with time for Q and A.

 

Sunday morning  

9:00 – 10:30  Mindset and Positive People skills   Covers listening skills, how to deal with anger,  and Burn Out   

1030- 1200   Coaching with River City    with time to discuss and answer questions from class.
